NextSlidePlease expands the slide-ware presentation software paradigm to include integral hyperlinks and time-management, in support of truly dynamic, responsive oral presentations. NextSlidePlease eschews fixed, singular slide order in favor of hyperlinks between slides, and provides a user interface which allows presenters to understand the potential paths through content and make informed decisions based on projected time costs and content value.

In addition to developing a software prototype, Reflective Living is conducting basic research into the ways slide-ware presentations are used to support communication. We have completed two user-studies evaluating the use of slide-ware software to support oral presentations. These results are available in the 2009 CHI short paper "NextSlidePlease: Navigation and Time Management for Hyperpresentations."
